It is nice to see the MinuteMan project receiving some national attention at Michelle Malkin's blog. I put the MinuteMan project on my blog roll last week.
The MinuteMan project is a group of UNARMED citizens that will be observing the illegal emigration occurring along the US and Mexico border. Here is a statement from their website that indicates what their mission will be.
“Our policy of passive activity will be to OBSERVE with the aid of binoculars - telescopes - night vision scopes, and inform the U.S. Border Patrol of the location of illegal activity so that border patrol agents can investigate.”
Of course, the open-borders crowd are none to pleased with this.
On the MinuteMan website, you will also find several e-mails from opponents of the MinuteMan project. Be forewarned, some of the language is not suitable for children.
