Reverse Vampyr tagged me with the following. Hope you enjoy a little view into the Saint's twisted existence.
1. Wrapping or gift bags?
Doesn’t matter to me. However, the bags seem to be a "cop out" somehow.
2. Real or artificial tree?
“She who must be obeyed” is in charge of the tree. Currently it is artificial, when the kids were little it was real.
3. When do you put up the tree?
“She who must be obeyed” usually puts it up after Thanksgiving. “She who must be obeyed” does not trust the Saint to help.
4. When do you take the tree down?
New Year's Day.
5. Do you like eggnog?
Yes, if it is good quality.
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Train set. Still remember setting it up on a piece of ply wood.
7. Do you have a nativity scene?
Yes. HE is the reason for the season. The nativity set is porcelain and was made by the Saint's mother in her “arts and crafts” phase. She did a good job however.
8. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Underwear. We were a working class family, so high priced presents were not the norm.
9. Mail or e-mail Christmas cards?
“She who must be obeyed” does Christmas cards. Although, some years they never get mailed.
10. Favorite Christmas movie?
It's A Wonderful Life. What else would qualify??
11. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
I am a last minute shopper. The thrill is great.
12. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Pecan pie. This year we are doing something different however. Not doing the turkey and dressing thing. Going with prime rib.
13. Clear lights or colored on the tree?
Clear is what I prefer. But remember, “she who must be obeyed” is in charge of the tree.
14. Favorite Christmas song?
Silent Night
